Choice of Corn (Biochemistry, Medicine and Health)
What is the problem?
I am a farmer in central Kansas and for generations my family has kept one of the only organic corn farms in the area. I must determine if I will continue this practice for the future or if I will move to planting genetically modified corn. I'm wondering how genetically modified corn would affect my soil and if there are specific risks to planting genetically modified corn, especially financial and health concerns. My neighbors have crops that are organic and I wonder if my crops will affect their crops or soil.
